Nike - Not my broken ankles.com

This new Nike viral ad hasn't really convinced me. Am I the only one finding this viral not funny at all? Kobe Bryant might be the only interesting thing here. On one side, there is too much branding in my opinion, which is killing the viral potential of this ad. I particularly find Kobe's statement near the end quite lame "Get these shoes, or get an ankle insurance". On the other side, the ad is using some nowadays sarcasm with nothing really new in it.

This ad entire strategy is clearly stated in the first paragraph of the website:
Broken ankles can happen at anytime. Don't let your friends, loved ones or opponents suffer from slow game any longer. If your superior quickness has ever broken someone's ankles, don't just laugh at them. Get them the piece of mind they so desperately need.

This "need" being obviously an ankle insurance or/and Kobe's new nike shoes. I think the agency behind this is Wieden+Kennedy. Let me know if I am wrong.
